20/01/2006 A lively young man in a blue suit informed me politely it was forbidden to take photographs,
I thanked him for the information, putting the camera away, till he turned his back.
He was doing his job, not an easy one, considering you can make decent resolution pictures with some mobile phones, half of the visitors walking around with an aural guide looking very much like a phone.
Some 80 years ago, an enlightened bourgeois revolution encouraged/used the avant-garde to promote their art/message to reach the working masses.
That changed the look of many things.
Other radical changes were to follow later on,
not all as stimulating.
