Count Lippens

08/06/2006 A Belgian Count introducing a Hong Kong streetrace movie based on a Japanese comic series.
That's about as surreal as a French Vicomte financing a movie by a Spanish director featuring canibalistic love in the early 20th century.
The former event resulted in a screening of a rather disappointing Siu Fai Mak and Wai Keung Lau movie - I truly enjoyed their Infernal Affairs; the latter gave birth to Bunuel's second, the astonishing L'âge d'Or.

And there was more surreal that day, when I had that woman back on the phone - you can read the first part here.
Today I couldn't visit the apartment, she wanted to watch tennis on TV.
Tomorrow was fine, in the company of her 5 year old.
By the way, the tenant is on a three week trip,
so I will only see the apartment from the balcony,
through the curtains.
I ended making an offer, and reaching an agreement,
still without having seen it from the inside.
