29/08/2006 It was raining petals early May,
a nice change from the trafic fines it has been raining for 10 months now.
3 parking tickets in my own neighbourhood,
one for a very common but irregular manoeuvre,
a Spanish one for parking on the emergency lane of a parking lot entrance
and now a speeding ticket for doing 78 km/h on a three lane boulevard -interrupted with trafic lights and all- where they got the maximum speed down to 50.
Governments looking for extra income it seems, close to 600 EUR now.
In 10 years and some 100.000km on a motorbike I never collected one single ticket.
Like a greyhound I drove for hours at 200 following any Porsche on his (high)way to Switzerland,
I tried to triple some speed limits just for fun,
but no, not once they caught me.
Not the police anyway,
just those three blind drivers did.
